ScaleWell, a project organized by Jelly members Sean Corbett, Andy Angelos and Ziad Hussain, had their launch party last night and announced the first winner of the project. Scalewell provides grants of up to $1000 to ventures looking for early seed capital.
The first round had 42 submissions from entrepreneurs, which were narrowed down to five finalists, including Jelly member Jake Lumetta’s WinkVid. The winner ended up being Unatronics, a manufacturer of minimalist, retro electronic musical instruments, founded by Michael Una. Congrats to Michael, and to the ScaleWell team on a successful launch!

Jelly pal Jason Goodrich is a public relations dynamo. Dude was on ABC News with Diane Sawyer last night, talking about coworking and the freelance lifestyle. Nice cameo of Andy Angelos as well at OfficePort!
