Social Dev Camp a staggering success
Posted in Events | November 12th, 2009
Jelly member Andy Angelos, along with co-organizer Tim Courtney and a host of volunteers, put together a spectacular event at Social Dev Camp this past weekend. There were great talks, including an awesome look into Facebook’s technology and the unveiling of Jelly member Pek Pongpaet’s Tweetlytics.
Jelly also represented at the Hackathon, a contest where teams built functioning web applications in 24 hours. Jelly participants included:
- Jelly member Jake Lumetta, along with Jordan Fulghum, took home the award for best open sourced app with WinkVid, a real time video dating site.
- Jelly Members Sean Johnson and Jeff Siarto, along with Ryan Abbott, took third place with Carousel, a site to help catologue memories.
- Jelly member Jason Goodrich was on Team Awesome, which took second place with Awesome Lists, an instant Twitter list builder.
All in all, the event couldn’t have gone any better. We’re looking forward to seeing how much bigger Andy and Tim can make it next year!
