Just a quick heads up that we will be getting together this Wednesday evening for happy hour, immediately following Jelly. Starting around 4pm, everyone is going to head over to Galway Arms @ 2442 North Clark Street.

If you’ve never come to Jelly before but would like to meet some interesting, creative people, this is a great time to come. We hope to see you there!

Jelly expands to Evanston

Important and exciting news – Jelly is expanding north! Some Jelly friends up in Evanston have been wanting to start a Jelly up there, and we’ve gotten together to make it happen.

Starting next week (Monday, April 4th), our Monday Jelly session is moving to Coworking Evanston. Wednesdays stay where they are. The schedule now looks like this:

MONDAYS – 2pm – 6pm:

FreelanceCamp Chicago is coming up June 26th

FreelanceCamp is coming to Chicago in a couple on June 26th. Following in the footsteps of the BarCamp movement, FreelanceCamp brings together entrepreneurs and self-employed folks for a weekend of spontaneous talks, demonstrations and workshops.

The event will run from 10am – 6pm, at Gallery 1028 located at 1028 N. Hooker Street. You can learn more and register here.

Flag football at Grant Park with Jelly and The Coop!

Spring is officially here, and I can think of no better way to take advantage than by enjoying a friendly game of flag football and eating orange slices.

Join Jelly and The Coop next Saturday, May 15th, at Grant Park for some football fun. Men and women are welcome, no special equipment or athletic talent is required, and it’s of course free. All you need to do is RSVP at the link below:

Jelly Family Pot Luck Pictures

Jelly’s last pot luck event was a great success – we had 15 people from Jelly and the COOP attend, and had a ton of great food and drink. The Jelly happy hours are always a blast, but there’s something about sitting down together and enjoying food that you actually made yourself. We’re planning on doing another one soon.
